The DLLE Unit of Vedanta College, Vitthalwadi, organized a meaningful community outreach initiative titled “Khushiyon Ki Diwali” on 22nd October 2025, conducted at Satkarma Balakashram, Badlapur (West), and the Krishnarao Vrudhashram Old Age Home, Kulgaon–Badlapur. The programme began at 10:00 A.M. and involved a dedicated group of 17 student volunteers, who participated wholeheartedly under the guidance of Asst. Prof. Ishan Chhatlani and Asst. Prof. Anju Panjwani. The event aimed to celebrate Diwali by spreading joy and warmth among less privileged sections of society—specifically the children residing in the orphanage and the elderly members of the old age home. Through festive interactions, sharing activities, and compassionate engagement, the students created a cheerful and inclusive environment that truly embodied the spirit of Diwali. The initiative not only brought happiness to the residents but also helped instill values of empathy, social awareness, and community service among the participating students, reinforcing the mission of DLLE to connect academic learning with meaningful social contribution..
