The DLLE Committee of Vedanta College organized a meaningful “Charity Drive” on 27th & 28th November 2025 at the Lobby Area, under the guidance of Principal Dr. Prashant M. Shinde and the leadership of Convener Prof. Kritika Valecha. The committee members — Asst. Prof. Anju Panjwani, Asst. Prof. Ishan Chhatlani, and Asst. Prof. Shradha Chavan — actively contributed to the smooth execution of the event. The drive commenced at 10:30 a.m., witnessing enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members. A wide range of essential items such as clothes, food packets, footwear, bags, and educational materials were generously donated. Notably, one student took the initiative to donate clothes and actively participate in the charity process, inspiring others through their thoughtful gesture. The contributions highlighted the spirit of kindness and social responsibility among students, creating a sense of unity and compassion across the campus. All collected items were distributed to nearby shelters and needy families, bringing comfort and support to the recipients. The DLLE Committee extended heartfelt appreciation to everyone who participated and helped make the drive a success. With this positive response, the committee aims to conduct more such impactful initiatives in the future, continuing its mission of community service throughout the year..
