The NSS Unit of Vedanta College, in collaboration with J. J. Hospital Blood Bank, organized a Blood Donation Camp on 29th November 2025 at the College Lobby. The camp aimed to spread awareness about the significance of voluntary blood donation and encourage students and community members to contribute to this life-saving cause. A total of 31 NSS volunteers (6 Boys and 25 Girls) actively supported the event, assisting with registration, guiding donors, maintaining discipline, and ensuring smooth coordination throughout the camp. The medical team from J. J. Hospital conducted the donation process efficiently while ensuring donor safety and comfort. The camp witnessed the participation of 43 beneficiaries, including students, faculty members, and community donors. Donors were awarded Certificates, Gifts, and a Special Donor Card that provides future benefits such as free or concessional access to blood from designated blood banks. The event successfully promoted the spirit of service and reflected the NSS motto “Not Me, But You,” inspiring students to continue contributing toward social welfare initiatives..
