The NSS Unit of Vedanta College organized the celebration of Rath Saptami, a day dedicated to Lord Surya, symbolising health, energy, and positivity. The programme was conducted in a pleasant and enthusiastic atmosphere with the presence of students, teachers, and NSS volunteers. The event began with a warm welcome to the guests from Arogya Yoga & Naturopathy Institute, Honourable Principal Dr. Prashant Madhukar Shinde Sir, NSS Programme Officers Ms. Mansi Dixit Ma’am and Mr. Mukesh Amrutkar Sir, faculty members, and students. The programme started with the traditional lighting of the lamp, marking an auspicious beginning. Following the lamp lighting ceremony, Principal Sir addressed the gathering and shared his thoughts on the importance of maintaining physical and mental health through yoga and traditional practices. His words motivated students to adopt a healthy lifestyle. The programme included a felicitation ceremony for Ms. Sayali Jadhav Ma’am, Ms. Sachita Deshmukh Ma’am, and Ms. Pranali Patil Ma’am as a mark of appreciation. The highlight of the event was the yoga session conducted by expert instructors from Arogya Yoga & Naturopathy Institute, where students actively participated and experienced relaxation and positivity. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Mansi Dixit Ma’am, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, guests, and participants.
